Candle care & Safety

Your candle is designed to be experienced slowly and intentionally. Proper care ensures both performance and safety.

- The first burn.

Allow the wax to melt fully across the surface on the first burn. That establishes an even burn and helps prevent tunnelling over time. Burn for approximately 2-3 hours, or until the entire surface has liquefied.

- Candle Care

Trim the wick to 5mm before each use. Keep the wax pool free from debris. Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Avoid drafts, as this may cause uneven burning or smoking. Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time.

- Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials. Do not place near curtains, fabrics, or surfaces that may catch fire. Always extinguish the flame before leaving the room. Do not move the candle while it is lit or while the wax is liquid.

- When to Stop Burning

Discontinue use when approximately 5–10mm of wax remains at the base. This prevents overheating of the glass vessel.

- Extinguishing

Extinguish gently using a snuffer where possible. Avoid blowing directly onto the flame to minimise smoke and wax disturbance.

A considered burn preserves the integrity of the scent, the vessel, and the space it inhabits.
